About Akyempim Community Bank Plc

Akyempim Community Bank PLC, which was formerly known as Akyempim Rural Bank PLC, was established on 4th October, 1983 with its Head Office at Gomoa Dawurampong in the Central Region of Ghana. The bank was founded to provide accessible banking services to farmers, traders, small-scale businesses, and rural households who had limited access to conventional banking services.

The bank was established as part of Ghana's rural banking initiative aimed at promoting financial inclusion, mobilizing rural savings, and supporting local economic development. Over the past four decades, we have remained committed to this foundational purpose while continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of our clients.

The Bank currently has four (4) branches across the Central Region, strategically located to serve our growing customer base. These branches include:

• Dawurampong – Gomoa West District (Head Office), Opposite Dawurampong new Market
• Agona Swedru – Agona West Municipality, Mahodwoe Junction
• University of Education, Winneba (North Campus) – Effutu Municipality
• Kasoa – Awutu Senya East Municipality, Opposite my Child int. School, New Market Road
